We have had the Flag Day 2010 celebration rally beginning on Thursday July 1 and finishing on Sunday July 4. The Vento group arrived with a group of nearly 30 bikers at the inscription. The whole happening concentrated on Kleine Werf which has been transformed into the gatherings place for all motorcycles that weekend. Vento was also present with a stand and had some very interesting deals on lots of items. Also all the bikers would gather around all the time before or after a ride to check out all the specials so that they won’t miss out on anything. People from all the participating countries were buying stuff from Vento and or getting acquainted with us and with what we had to offer. Those who missed out on the activities may get a picture by going trough our album although it will be better not to miss the next one in 2011.

Today June 15 two motorcycles have been picked up by their new owners and a new album has ben created for this occasion. They already had motorcycles and now they have upgraded to a bigger engine. They both had 250cc motorcycles, one of the brand Vento and the other of the Hyosung brand and now both have a motorcycle of the Kawasaki brand. One has gone with the classic look and 1500cc engine while the other went for the Mean Streak 1600cc. Also on display is one customer who tried sitting on the new ATV as to see how it feels and how he looks on it. We also have one apprentice who just return from her practical lesson and join the enthusiastic new owners when they celebrated and toasted on their new motorcycle. Again all this happens at VENTO nooooooooooooo.

A new picture album has been created for the offloading of our new container last Thursday. In the album you will also have a chance to see some of the new motorcycles that has arrived. We even received a brand new 450cc ATV, locally better known as a Quad, of the brand Hyosung and with a price of naf 12.000 it’s a real bargain. Also spectacular is the 30^th anniversary Hyosung Gv650 cruiser model in black and red. Another good deal is the Kawasaki VN1500 Classic of 2002 for less than 14 thousand guilders while there is one BN125 for the people who stood last in the row when height has been given to all or also a good choice for giving driven lessons with it. Lots of full face helmets, saddlebags, accessories for the Kawasaki VN900 and motorcycle cover for only 100 guilders has been received. All by all lots of good stuff has arrive just in time for fathers day at VENTO nooooo.

Arrival this week of a new container with motorcycles and accessories and the activities related with the assembling and preparation of the motorcycles leads to the cancellation of the safe ride training part 2. We will announce when a new date has been scheduled.

After a very successful safe ride training section a little time ago Vento is proud to announce that the second part is going to take place on Sunday June 13 at 10.00 at the Zuikertuintje Pet Care parking lot. The focus of this type of training is to get the rider to get more acquainted with his motorcycle and thus become a better driver so we may have a safer traffic environment. During the training the driver will have to ride along side someone walking and try to hold on to this slow speed without putting down his feet. This can be obtained by a combination of rear brake, clutch and throttle maneuvers and is essential for the rest of the training and very crucial for every day riding. Applying this technique we also practice doing U-turns between specific margins and riding like a snake between targets set at various intervals. Coordination, balance and good handling of your motorcycle will be obtained with this type of training. If time permit we will add some more exercise or increase the difficulty of them.
